Windward Beach Park, Brick NJ: the riverfront park, farmers market and SummerFest

Windward Beach is Brick's riverfront park on the Metedeconk River at 265 Princeton Avenue. It is the township's gathering place for the Saturday farmers market and the free SummerFest concerts, but swimming is not permitted there.

The park has playgrounds, volleyball nets, bocce courts, horseshoe pits, picnic tables, a gazebo, restrooms and piers for fishing and crabbing. It is a river beach, so there are no badges and no lifeguards, and the township does not allow swimming.

The Brick Farmers Market, started in 2015, runs every Saturday from May through September at the park.

SummerFest, the township's free Thursday concert series, has been held at Windward Beach for more than 30 years. The food court and beer and wine garden open around 5 pm, music starts at about 7 pm, and every night ends with fireworks over the river. In 2026 the dates were July 2, 9, 16 and 23, with free shuttle buses from five township schools from 5 pm.
